acrylic and ink on gallery wrapped canvas

When I landed my first studio at Yosemite Place in the Bay View neighborhood of San Francisco in 2008, I wanted to explore what would happen if I just dove in and let go in a new series of paintings that came to be called "Progressions". I just jumped in and discovered new brush stroke techniques, new approaches, and a fresh perspective. By this letting go, I discovered techniques that I later developed in the “facets” series.
